Agricultural Service Technician

APH the long established combine harvester specialists are looking to recruit a qualified agricultural service engineer to join our busy workshop.

Agricultural Service Technician - The Role:

This is a key position which will include the following main responsibilities:

• Performing diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment.
• Working within the workshop or in the field/on farm as required.
• Completing pre-delivery set up on new or used equipment.

Agricultural Service Technician - The Candidate:

Skills and Qualifications required:

New Holland and Claas experience would be an advantage, specifically experience with combine harvesters.

• The ability to undertake maintenance and repairs using appropriate tools and equipment following approved technical procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• The ability to provide excellent customer service whether working individually or as part of a team.
• Self-motivation, having good communication skills and a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Flexibility with working hours during busy seasons and weekends.
• Full valid driving licence required.
• Forklift driving licence preferred.
